Z-LION Shank mounted diamond flap wheels are generally used on portable tools such as die grinder, electric drill, etc. for deburring, flash removal and polishing of thermal sprayed superhard coatings. Excellent for working in small, hard to reach places.
Flap wheels have the same arrangement of flaps radiating outwards from a central core. The flaps are arranged like a fan around the shaft of the tool, provide consistent cutting action, maximum performance and long lifespan. Features of Z-LION Shank mounted diamond flap wheels are as follows:
• Electroplated diamond flaps work more efficiently than traditional abrasive flaps, ideal for polishing superhard coatings.
• Diamonds are electroplated with a nickel matrix through flexible steel mesh, provides aggressive cutting action and long tool life as well as good flexibility.
• The flexible diamond flaps allow the wheel to contour around the work piece and smooth the surface.
• With the flap design, as the flap wears away new diamond flap is exposed and the wheel continues to cut.
• Available in a wide range of sizes for different applications, ideal for polishing inner wall of a hole or pipe work piece and hard to reach places of an irregular work piece.
