In glass industry, diamond flap cup wheels are widely used for removing the sharp edge of cut glass or polishing edge of mirrors and other glassware. • Diamond flaps overlapped sequenced along the rim of the backing, as the diamonds wear, the layer of diamonds under the top layer become exposed creating a brand new layer of diamonds for continued sanding and polishing.
• Semirigid diamond flaps are harder than flexible flaps, provide higher stock removal rate and longer tool life.
• Diamond flap cup wheels provide smooth sanding on glass edge without creating any chipping.
