(3) Slight scratches: scratches that can be seen, but not felt on the belly of the fingers and nails.

The repair principle of glass scratches: first grind and then polish. That is, first use the abrasive sheet to grind away the scratches, and then use the polishing paste to polish the glass.

1. Apply toothpaste: toothpaste can only cover up small scratches, so this method is not suitable for deep and obvious scratches. Squeeze toothpaste (preferably white toothpaste) onto a flexible diamond polishing pads and apply it to the scratches, swiping a few more times. Then wipe off the toothpaste with a damp rag, the scratches will be much lighter.

2. Wipe ammonia water: Mix 1.5 liters of water with 15 ml of ammonia water, dip a clean cloth in the ammonia solution, and wipe the scratches in a spiral shape. Wipe the ammonia water off after the scratches are noticeably lighter.

Large scratch repair

1. Buy some special products for glass scratches according to the actual situation of scratched glass. Follow the instructions on the tool box, take out the sand table inside and put it on the drill bit, set the speed of the drill bit to the lowest gear, and then start grinding the glass. Smooth the scratches with a drill fitted with a sand tray.

2. Use a wool polishing pad to apply ferric oxide first, and apply it to the glass in a spiral shape. After the scratches subside, use a clean sponge dipped in an ammonia solution (a mixture of 60 ml of ammonia and 1.9 liters of water) to wipe off the ferric oxide on the glass.
